Happy April Fools Day!
Hopefully, you don’t fall victim to too bad of a prank today, but have something happen that makes you smile. I never really got into pranking people. Nothing against other people having some fun, I just can’t bring myself to do it.
I remember one office I worked at in Texas, it was almost like a competition to see who could pull off the most elaborate prank. It really only resulted in those who participated spending a lot of time after work cleaning up their desks, offices, or cars–oh the cars. I learned (through observation) it takes a lot of hole punches from the 3 hole punch tools to properly create a snow globe effect in someone’s car when they turn on the AC. I tell ya, they got really into it. They loved it, though, and it was a day full of laughing, and cleaning, and more laughing.
So I thought today might be a good day for a more lighthearted post.
A few years ago, back when I still lived in Albuquerque, I sent a message to Player 2 about a destroyed measuring spoon in the garbage disposal. Of course, Player 2 denied responsibility, and honestly, who knows how it happened, but I decided to run with it not being my doing and Player 2 demanded proof.
So, I decided to deliver proof. And this is what was found:
Because you know, some days you spend all day writing, and some days you dream up a fake murder scene for a measuring spoon.
Have a happy April fools day, everyone. Spend time with friends or family, watch your favorite comedy, read a book that makes you smile, and laugh it up.
